Meaning today and context
Wanting to become something keeps you separate from it. Peace often comes not when we grab for it, but when we stop grabbing.
Ashtavakra teaches Janaka in the final chapter on peace (shanti): he says the deluded one does not attain Brahman because he wants to become it, while the wise one, without even wanting, shares in its nature.
