अनेनैव प्रकारेण बुद्धिभेदो न सर्वगः । दाता च धीरतामेति गीयते नामकोटिभिः ॥
anenaiva prakāreṇa buddhibhedo na sarvagaḥ | dātā ca dhīratāmeti gīyate nāmakoṭibhiḥ ||
In just this way, division of understanding does not reach the all-pervading. The giver attains steadiness and is praised by millions of names.
इसी प्रकार सर्वव्यापी में बुद्धि का भेद नहीं पहुँचता। दाता धीरता को प्राप्त होता है और करोड़ों नामों से उसका गुणगान होता है।

बँटी हुई सोच उस सत्य की पूर्णता को नहीं बदलती। जो समझ को उदारता से बाँटते हैं, वे स्वयं भी स्थिर होते जाते हैं।
An obscure verse: Dattatreya appears to say that, seen this way, divided understanding does not touch the all-pervading, and that one who gives (this knowledge) becomes steady. The reading is uncertain.
