The creeper of samsara's endless spreading is never mine; the joy of unbroken contentment is never mine; this bondage of ignorance is never mine. I am the nectar of knowledge, the same throughout, like the sky.

Life's entanglements grow like a creeper, one thing leading to another. The verse says your deepest self is not tangled in them, and not even dependent on feeling content.
Dattatreya says the creeper of samsara, even the pleasure of contentment, and the bondage of ignorance never belong to him.
