Avadhuta Gita 3.16

3.16 Dattatreya

niṣkampakampanidhanaṃ na vikalpakalpaṃ svapnaprabodhanidhanaṃ na hitāhitaṃ hi | niḥsārasāranidhanaṃ na carācaraṃ hi jñānāmṛtaṃ samarasaṃ gaganopamo'ham ||

Not stillness, trembling, or their ending; no imagined forms; not dream, waking, or their ending; not good or harm; not essence, the essenceless, or their ending; not moving or unmoving. I am the nectar of knowledge, the same throughout, like the sky.

Meaning today and context

Waking and dreaming, calm and agitation all appear and vanish; what witnesses them does not. That awareness is the steady ground the verse points to.

Dattatreya lists more pairs the Self is not: stillness and trembling, dream and waking, help and harm, moving and unmoving.
