Non-discrimination and discrimination are ignorance; the undivided and the divided are ignorance. If knowing is one and unbroken, why do you weep, O mind? All is one and the same.

Even our spiritual tools, like careful discernment, are ladders, not the destination. Clinging to them as achievements can become a new burden.
In chapter 5, Dattatreya speaks to his own mind with the refrain 'why do you weep?'; he says even discrimination and its absence, the undifferentiated and differentiated, belong to ignorance; knowing is one and unbroken.
