Avadhuta Gita 5.22

5.22 Dattatreya

atisarvanirantarasarvagataṃ atinirmalaniścalasarvagatam | dinarātrivivarjitasarvagataṃ kimu rodiṣi mānasi sarvasamam ||

Beyond all, unbroken, all-pervading; utterly pure, unmoving, all-pervading; free of day and night, all-pervading. Why do you weep, O mind? All is one and the same.

Meaning today and context

Days of light and nights of darkness pass over us, but what is aware of them does not pass. Even the darkest nights are held in it.

In chapter 5, Dattatreya speaks to his own mind with the refrain 'why do you weep?'; he says reality is all-pervading, utterly pure, unmoving, and free of day and night.
