Avadhuta Gita 6.27

6.27 Dattatreya

vindati vindati na hi na hi yatra chandolakṣaṇaṃ na hi na hi tatra | samarasamagno bhāvitapūtaḥ pralapati tattvaṃ paramavadhūtaḥ ||

Where there is no 'it is found, it is found', no, none at all; where there is no rule of metre, no, none at all: there, immersed in the one sameness, purified by inner realisation, the supreme Avadhuta pours out the truth.

Some truths come out not as polished argument but as an overflow from deep experience. This verse explains why the Avadhuta Gita sounds like ecstatic speech rather than a treatise.

The closing verse of chapter 6 (repeated at the end of chapter 7) describes how the Avadhuta's song arises: not from rules of verse or learned effort, but from absorption in the one reality.
