Bhagavad Gita 10.32

10.32 Krishna to Arjuna

sargāṇāmādirantaśca madhyaṃ caivāhamarjuna | adhyātmavidyā vidyānāṃ vādaḥ pravadatāmaham ||

Of creations I am the beginning, the end and also the middle, Arjuna. Among sciences I am the knowledge of the Self; among those who argue, I am the reasoning that seeks the truth.

Meaning today and context

Of all the kinds of learning, knowing oneself matters most. And in an argument, what is sacred is the honest search for what is true, not the wish to win.

Krishna says he is the beginning, middle and end of all creations, the knowledge of the Self among sciences, and honest discussion among debaters.
