Bhagavad Gita 18.33

18.33 Krishna to Arjuna

dhṛtyā yayā dhārayate manaḥprāṇendriyakriyāḥ | yogenāvyabhicāriṇyā dhṛtiḥ sā pārtha sāttvikī ||

The resolve by which one holds the functions of the mind, breath and senses, steady through yoga and never wavering: that resolve, Partha, is sattvic.

Meaning today and context

Real willpower is not grim force but a steady hold on attention, breath and impulses, built through practice. It is what keeps a meditation, a habit or a commitment going on hard days.

Krishna defines sattvic resolve: the unwavering steadiness, held by yoga, with which one sustains the workings of mind, breath and senses.
