Bhagavad Gita 7.22

7.22 Krishna to Arjuna

sa tayā śraddhayā yuktastasyā rādhanamīhate | labhate ca tataḥ kāmānmayaiva vihitānhi tān ||

Endowed with that faith, he strives to worship that form, and from it obtains his desires, which are in truth ordained by me alone.

Meaning today and context

Whatever good we receive, by whatever path, comes from one source. That is a reason for gratitude rather than rivalry between paths.

Krishna says such a devotee, with that faith, worships the deity and obtains desires that are in fact granted by Krishna.
