Bhagavad Gita 7.28

7.28 Krishna to Arjuna

yeṣāṃ tvantagataṃ pāpaṃ janānāṃ puṇyakarmaṇām | te dvaṃdvamohanirmuktā bhajante māṃ dṛḍhavratāḥ ||

But people of good deeds, whose wrongdoing has come to an end, freed from the delusion of opposites, worship me with firm resolve.

Meaning today and context

Past mistakes do not have the last word. Good actions steadily clear the mind, and a clearer mind can commit to what matters with firmness.

Krishna says those whose wrongdoing has come to an end through good deeds are freed from the delusion of opposites and worship him with firm resolve.
