अथ चक्षुरत्यवहत् । तद्यदा मृत्युमत्यमुच्यत स आदित्योऽभवत् । सोऽसावादित्यः परेण मृत्युमतिक्रान्तस्तपति ॥
atha cakṣuratyavahat | tadyadā mṛtyumatyamucyata sa ādityo'bhavat | so'sāvādityaḥ pareṇa mṛtyumatikrāntastapati ||
Then it carried the eye across. When it was freed from death, it became the sun. That sun, having passed beyond death, shines with heat.
