अथ श्रोत्रमत्यवहत् । तद्यदा मृत्युमत्यमुच्यत ता दिशोऽभवन् । ता इमा दिशः परेण मृत्युमतिक्रान्ताः ॥
atha śrotramatyavahat | tadyadā mṛtyumatyamucyata tā diśo'bhavan | tā imā diśaḥ pareṇa mṛtyumatikrāntāḥ ||
Then it carried the ear across. When it was freed from death, it became the quarters. These quarters have passed beyond death.
फिर उसने कान को पार पहुँचाया। जब वह मृत्यु से छूटा, तो दिशाएँ बन गया। ये दिशाएँ मृत्यु के पार हैं।
