He becomes one, like an ocean, the seer without a second. This is the world of Brahman, Your Majesty. So Yajnavalkya taught him. This is his highest goal, this is his highest treasure, this is his highest world, this is his highest bliss. On just a small measure of this bliss other beings live.

Every joy we chase is a small share of a fullness that is already our own nature. Knowing this can make us less desperate about the small joys and more open to the source.
Brihadaranyaka 4.3.32: Yajnavalkya teaches Janaka that the self becomes one like an ocean, the single seer without a second: this is the world of Brahman, the highest goal and bliss, of which other beings live on a fraction.
