3.7 Chanakya

mūrkhastu pariharttavyaḥ pratyakṣo dvipadaḥ paśuḥ | bhidyate vākyaśūlena adṛśyaṃ kaṇṭakaṃ yathā ||

A fool should be avoided; he is a two-legged beast in plain sight. He pierces with the spike of his words, like an unseen thorn.

'Fool' here means someone who will not learn and wounds others with words; it is not about people with learning difficulties, and calling anyone a beast is not endorsed.

Thoughtless, hurtful talk can wound more than we expect. Keep distance from people who keep hurting you with careless words, and watch your own words too.

Chanakya advises keeping away from the fool, whose words wound like a hidden thorn.
