Chanakya Niti 4.19

4.19 Chanakya

agnirdevo dvijātīnāṃ munīnāṃ hṛdi daivatam | pratimā tvalpabuddhīnāṃ sarvatra samadarśinām ||

For the twice-born, God is in the fire; for sages, God is in the heart; for those of little understanding, in an image; for those who see all equally, everywhere.

'Twice-born' and 'little understanding' reflect the hierarchy of its time. They must never be used to rank people by caste or to belittle anyone's way of worship.
