अन्यथा वेदपाण्डित्यं शास्त्रमाचारमन्यथा । अन्यथा वदता शांतं लोकाः क्लिश्यन्ति चाऽन्यथा ॥
anyathā vedapāṇḍityaṃ śāstramācāramanyathā | anyathā vadatā śāṃtaṃ lokāḥ kliśyanti cā'nyathā ||
Those who make Vedic learning into something other, and scripture and right conduct into something other, and speak of the peaceful [path] otherwise, such people suffer in vain.
