नाऽत्यन्तं सरलैर्भाव्यं गत्वा पश्य वनस्थलीम् । छिद्यन्ते सरलास्तत्र कुब्जास्तिष्ठन्ति पादपाः ॥
nā'tyantaṃ saralairbhāvyaṃ gatvā paśya vanasthalīm | chidyante saralāstatra kubjāstiṣṭhanti pādapāḥ ||
Do not be too straight. Go and look at the forest: there the straight trees are cut down, while the crooked ones are left standing.
बहुत अधिक सीधा नहीं होना चाहिए। जाकर वन में देखो: वहाँ सीधे पेड़ काट लिए जाते हैं और टेढ़े पेड़ खड़े रहते हैं।
