Katha Upanishad 2.3.8

2.3.8 Yama to Nachiketa

avyaktāttu paraḥ puruṣo vyāpako'liṅga eva ca | yaṃ jñātvā mucyate janturamṛtatvaṃ ca gacchati ||

But higher than the unmanifest is the Person, all-pervading and without any mark. Knowing him, a living being is freed and goes to immortality.

Meaning today and context

What we truly are has no labels, no role, title or category. Seeing past the labels is the beginning of freedom.

Yama completes the ladder: beyond the unmanifest is the all-pervading Person without any marks; knowing him, a creature is freed and reaches immortality.
