तत्तु विषयत्यागात्सङ्गत्यागाच्च ॥
tattu viṣayatyāgātsaṅgatyāgācca ||
That [devotion comes] through giving up sense-objects and giving up attachment.
वह (भक्ति) विषयों के त्याग और संग (आसक्ति) के त्याग से (प्राप्त होती है)।
Giving up sense-objects means inner non-attachment, not fasting, self-denial of basic needs, or leaving family and work.
विषयों के त्याग का अर्थ भीतरी अनासक्ति है, उपवास, बुनियादी ज़रूरतों से वंचित रहना या परिवार और काम छोड़ना नहीं।
