1.47 Narada

yo viviktasthānaṃ sevate yo lokabandhamunmūlayati nistraiguṇyo bhavati yo yogakṣemaṃ tyajati ||

One who resorts to a solitary place, who uproots the bondage of the world, who goes beyond the three guṇas, who gives up [anxious concern for] acquiring and keeping.

Giving up anxiety over getting and keeping is not advice to neglect earning, savings, health or family; it is about not being ruled by worry. Solitude here means time apart, not cutting oneself off from people.

Meaning today and context

Time alone, away from noise, lets us see what binds us. Much of our anxiety is about getting more and holding on to what we have; the verse invites trusting that care to God rather than being consumed by it.

The answer to 'who crosses māyā?' continues: solitude, cutting worldly bonds, going beyond the three guṇas, and giving up anxiety over getting and keeping.
