When love fills a person, it colours everything they see and hear. In small ways we know this from loving people; devotion is that absorption turned towards God.
जब प्रेम किसी को भर देता है, तो वह जो कुछ देखता-सुनता है, सब उसी रंग में रंग जाता है। प्रियजनों के प्रेम में हम इसे थोड़ा जानते हैं; भक्ति वही तल्लीनता ईश्वर की ओर है।
Narada says one who has gained this love sees, hears and thinks of that alone. The common text adds 'speaks of that alone' (tad eva bhāṣayati), which our print lacks.
