ko lābho guṇisaṅgamaḥ kimasukhaṃ prājñetaraiḥ saṅgatiḥ | kā hāniḥ samaya-cyutirnipuṇatā kā dharma-tattve ratiḥ | kaḥ śūro vijitendriyaḥ priyatamā kā'nuvratā kiṃ dhanaṃ | vidyā kiṃ sukhamapravāsa-gamanaṃ rājyaṃ kimājñā-phalam ||

One who has mastered his senses. Who is the dearest wife? One who is loyal. What is wealth? Learning. What is happiness? Not having to live away from home. What is a kingdom? Having one's word obeyed.
