ratnairmahārhaistutuṣurna devā | na bhejire bhīma-viṣeṇa bhītim | sudhāṃ vinā na prayayurvirāmaṃ | na niścitārthādviramanti dhīrāḥ ||
The gods were not content with priceless jewels, nor did they give way to fear at the terrible poison; they did not rest until they had the nectar. The steadfast do not stop short of the goal they have resolved upon.
