With eyes everywhere and faces everywhere, with arms everywhere and feet everywhere, the one God, bringing forth heaven and earth, forges them together with his arms and with wings.

Meaning today and context

Nothing happens unseen by the divine; it acts through every hand and sees through every eye. That can be a comfort and also a reminder of responsibility.

In the third chapter Shvetashvatara praises the one Lord, Rudra (Śiva), as ruler of the worlds. He describes the one God whose eyes, faces, arms and feet are everywhere and who forges heaven and earth.
