Uddhava Gita 1.11

1.11 Gods to Krishna

yaścintyate prayatapāṇibhiradhvarāgnau | trayyā niruktavidhineśa havirgṛhītvā | adhyātmayoga uta yogibhirātmamāyāṃ | jijñāsubhiḥ paramabhāgavataiḥ parīṣṭaḥ ||

Lord, your foot is meditated upon by those who, with pure hands, take up the oblation for the sacrificial fire by the method laid down in the three Vedas; by yogis in the yoga of the inner Self who wish to understand your māyā; and it is worshipped on every side by your greatest devotees.

Meaning today and context

Ritual, inquiry and devotion are pictured as different roads to the same place. A person need not look down on another's path.

The gods say every kind of seeker reaches for the same feet: the Vedic ritualist at the fire, the yogi seeking to understand māyā, and the great devotee.
