Uddhava Gita 1.34

1.34 Krishna to Yadu elders

ete vai sumahotpātā vyuttiṣṭhantīha sarvataḥ | śāpaśca naḥ kulasyāsīdbrāhmaṇebhyo duratyayaḥ ||

The Lord said: These great portents are rising up here on every side, and the curse laid on our family by the brahmins is hard to escape.

Meaning today and context

Krishna speaks plainly to his elders about the danger instead of hiding it.

Krishna tells the Yadu elders (the canonical listener 'Uddhava' is wrong here) that terrible omens are rising and the brahmins' curse on the clan cannot be escaped.
