Uddhava Gita 1.7

1.7 Gods to Krishna

natāḥ sma te nātha padāravindaṃ buddhīndriyaprāṇamanovacobhiḥ | yaccintyate'ntarhṛdi bhāvayuktairmumukṣubhiḥ karmamayorupāśāt ||

Lord, we bow at your lotus feet with our understanding, senses, breath, mind and speech: the feet that those who long for freedom from the strong noose of karma hold in meditation within their hearts, full of love.

Meaning today and context

Bowing here is not just a gesture of the body; it is mind, speech, breath and thought all turned in one direction. Real surrender involves the whole person.

The gods' hymn begins: they bow with their whole being to Krishna's feet, on which seekers of freedom meditate.
