Uddhava Gita 11.10

11.10 Krishna to Uddhava

ahaṃ gatirgatimatāṃ kālaḥ kalayatāmaham | guṇānāṃ cāpyahaṃ sāmyaṃ guṇinyautpattiko guṇaḥ ||

I am the goal of those who move, time among those that measure; of the guṇas I am their balance, and in whatever has qualities I am its inborn nature.

Meaning today and context

Every thing's own nature, the wetness of water, the heat of fire, the gift in a person, is pointed to here as divine. Our natural qualities are not accidents to be ashamed of.

Krishna lists his vibhūtis (manifestations of glory) to Uddhava (Bhāgavata 11.16), a list close to Gita chapter 10. He is the goal of all who move, time among those who count, the balance of the guṇas, and the natural quality in all that has qualities.
