आचार्यं मां विजानीयान्नावमन्येत कर्हिचित् । न मर्त्यबुद्ध्यासूयेत सर्वदेवमयो गुरुः ॥
ācāryaṃ māṃ vijānīyānnāvamanyeta karhicit | na martyabuddhyāsūyeta sarvadevamayo guruḥ ||
He should know the teacher to be me and never slight him. He should not resent him, thinking him a mere mortal, for the guru embodies all the gods.
