Uddhava Gita 14.27

14.27 Krishna to Uddhava

dharmo madbhaktikṛtprokto jñānaṃ caikātmyadarśanam | guṇesvasaṅgo vairāgyamaiśvaryaṃ cāṇimādayaḥ ||

Dharma is said to be what brings about devotion to me; knowledge is seeing the oneness of the Self; dispassion is non-attachment to the guṇas; and mastery is the powers such as becoming minute.

The powers named here are what the text claims; they are not achievable feats or proof of anything. Beware of anyone who sells powers or demands money or obedience for them.

Meaning today and context

Each big word gets a working definition: right living is what deepens love, knowledge is seeing oneness, dispassion is not being caught by what attracts us.

Krishna defines the four attainments named two verses earlier.
