छिद्यमानं यमैरेतैः कृतनीडं वनस्पतिम् । खगः स्वकेतमुत्सृज्य क्षेमं याति ह्यलम्पटः ॥
chidyamānaṃ yamairetaiḥ kṛtanīḍaṃ vanaspatim | khagaḥ svaketamutsṛjya kṣemaṃ yāti hyalampaṭaḥ ||
When the tree in which it has built its nest is being cut down by these death-like men, the bird, not greedy to stay, abandons its home and goes to safety.
