Meaning today and context
Reflecting on how everything comes into being and passes away loosens our grip on things. Seeing impermanence clearly can quiet an anxious mind.
Krishna gives a contemplative method from Sankhya: reflect on how all things arise and dissolve, in forward and reverse order, until the mind becomes calm.
