Uddhava Gita 15.24

15.24 Krishna to Uddhava

yamādibhiryogapathairānvīkṣikyā ca vidyayā | mamārcopāsanābhirvā nānyairyogyaṃ smarenmanaḥ ||

By the paths of yoga beginning with the yamas, by the knowledge of reasoned inquiry, or by worship and adoration of me, and by no other means, should one make the mind dwell on what is worthy.

Meaning today and context

There are different doors to a settled mind: ethical discipline, careful thinking, or devotion. Choose the one that suits you and keep at it.

Krishna names the means of steadying the mind on the worthy object: the yoga paths beginning with the yamas, reasoned inquiry, or worship of him, and no other.
