Uddhava Gita 15.6

15.6 Krishna to Uddhava

yogāstrayo mayā proktā nṝṇāṃ śreyovidhitsayā | jñānaṃ karma ca bhaktiśca nopāyo'nyo'sti kutracit ||

Wishing to bring about the good of human beings, I have taught three yogas: knowledge, action and devotion. There is no other means anywhere.

Meaning today and context

There is more than one way to grow, and they suit different people: understanding, wholehearted work, and love of God. You do not have to force yourself into a path that does not fit you.

Krishna answers Uddhava's doubt by naming the three paths he has taught for human good.
