रजःसत्त्वतमोनिष्ठा रजःसत्त्वतमोजुषः । उपासत इन्द्रमुख्यान्देवादीन्न यथैव माम् ॥
rajaḥsattvatamoniṣṭhā rajaḥsattvatamojuṣaḥ | upāsata indramukhyāndevādīnna yathaiva mām ||
Established in and given to rajas, sattva and tamas, they worship Indra and the other gods, but not me in the same way.
रजस्, सत्त्व और तमस् में स्थित और उन्हीं में रमे हुए लोग इंद्र आदि देवताओं की उपासना करते हैं, पर उसी प्रकार मेरी नहीं।
