शैली दारुमयी लौही लेप्या लेख्या च सैकती । मनोमयी मणिमयी प्रतिमाष्टविधा स्मृता ॥
śailī dārumayī lauhī lepyā lekhyā ca saikatī | manomayī maṇimayī pratimāṣṭavidhā smṛtā ||
The image is said to be of eight kinds: of stone, of wood, of metal, of clay or paste, painted, of sand, made of the mind, and of gems.
मूर्ति आठ प्रकार की कही गई है: पत्थर की, लकड़ी की, धातु की, लेप (मिट्टी आदि) की, चित्र रूप, रेत की, मनोमयी (मन में बनाई हुई) और मणियों की।
