Uddhava Gita 22.49

22.49 Krishna to Uddhava

evaṃ kriyāyogapathaiḥ pumānvaidikatāntrikaiḥ | arcannubhayataḥ siddhiṃ matto vindatyabhīpsitām ||

Thus a person who worships by these paths of kriyā-yoga, Vedic and Tantric, obtains from me the perfection he desires, in both (this world and the next).

Meaning today and context

Regular, sincere worship is said to bring both inner and outer good. The promise is about the fruit of steady devotion, not a bargain.

Krishna (Bhagavata 11.27.49) sums up: one who worships him by these Vedic and Tantric paths of kriyā-yoga gains from him the success he desires in both worlds.
