ईक्षेत विभ्रममिदं मनसो विलासं । दृष्टं विनष्टमतिलोलमलातचक्रम् । विज्ञानमेकमुरुधेव विभाति माया । स्वप्नस्त्रिधा गुणविसर्गकृतो विकल्पः ॥
īkṣeta vibhramamidaṃ manaso vilāsaṃ | dṛṣṭaṃ vinaṣṭamatilolamalātacakram | vijñānamekamurudheva vibhāti māyā | svapnastridhā guṇavisargakṛto vikalpaḥ ||
Let one see this as a delusion, a play of the mind: seen and gone, very unsteady, like a whirling firebrand. One consciousness appears as many; it is māyā, a threefold dream, a division produced by the play of the guṇas.
