कृष्यादिवत्फलार्थत्वादन्यकर्मोपबृंहणम् । अग्निष्टोमस्त्वपेक्षेत विद्यान्यत्किमपेक्षते ॥
kṛṣyādivatphalārthatvādanyakarmopabṛṃhaṇam | agniṣṭomastvapekṣeta vidyānyatkimapekṣate ||
Because it aims at a result, like farming and the like, the agnishtoma may need the support of other actions; but what else would knowledge need?
