Upadeshasahasri 14.50

14.50 Shankaracharya

svabhāvaśuddhe gagane ghanādike male'payāte sati cāviśeṣatā | yathā ca tadvacchrutivāritadvaye sadāviśeṣo gaganopame dṛśau ||

When clouds and other impurities have passed from space, which is pure by nature, there is no difference [in it]. So too in seeing, which is like space and in which duality is denied by scripture, there is never any difference.

Meaning today and context

Clouds pass and the sky was never harmed. Moods, troubles and confusions are like that; the awareness behind them is the same clear sky throughout.

Shankaracharya, in the fourteenth chapter of the Upadeshasahasri (on dream and memory), closes the chapter with the image of space cleared of clouds.
