Upadeshasahasri 15.51

15.51 Shankaracharya

yathoktaṃ brahma yo veda hānopādānavarjitam | yathoktena vidhānena sa satyaṃ naiva jāyate ||

Whoever knows Brahman as described, free from rejecting and accepting, by the method taught, is truly never born [again].

Meaning today and context

What you are needs nothing added and nothing removed. Knowing this ends the endless cycle of grasping and pushing away, which is a kind of rebirth every day.

Shankaracharya states the result of this knowledge: freedom from rebirth.
