श्रद्धाभक्ती पुरस्कृत्य हित्वा सर्वमनार्जवम् । वेदान्तस्यैव तत्त्वार्थे व्यासस्यापि मतौ तथा ॥
śraddhābhaktī puraskṛtya hitvā sarvamanārjavam | vedāntasyaiva tattvārthe vyāsasyāpi matau tathā ||
Putting faith and devotion first, giving up all crookedness, [let him make his understanding firm] in the true meaning of Vedānta alone, and likewise in the view of Vyāsa.
श्रद्धा और भक्ति को आगे रखकर, सारी कुटिलता छोड़कर, (वह अपनी मति) केवल वेदान्त के तत्त्वार्थ में, और वैसे ही व्यास के मत में (दृढ़ करे)।
