Upadeshasahasri 18.130

18.130 Shankaracharya

ajñāsiṣamidaṃ māṃ cetyapekṣā jāyate dhruvam | viśeṣo'pekṣyate yatra tatra naivaikakālatā ||

In 'I knew this, and myself', a dependence [of one part on another] certainly arises; where a distinction is required, there is no simultaneity.

A step in a technical debate on whether the knower and the known are grasped in the same instant.

Shankaracharya continues against the Mimamsaka: the memory 'I knew this and myself' shows that its parts depend on one another in order; where such distinction is needed, there is no single moment.
