अक्रियत्वेऽपि तादात्म्यमध्यक्षस्य भवेद्यदि । आत्माध्यक्षो ममास्तीति संबन्धाग्रहणे न धीः ॥
akriyatve'pi tādātmyamadhyakṣasya bhavedyadi | ātmādhyakṣo mamāstīti saṃbandhāgrahaṇe na dhīḥ ||
If, though actionless, the overseer were identical [with the 'I'], [still,] unless the relation is grasped there is no thought, 'I have the Self as overseer'.
