भानुप्रभासंजनिताभ्रपङ्क्तिः । भानुं तिरोधाय विजृम्भते यथा । आत्मोदिताहंकृतिरात्मतत्त्वं । तथा तिरोधाय विजृम्भते स्वयम् ॥
bhānuprabhāsaṃjanitābhrapaṅktiḥ | bhānuṃ tirodhāya vijṛmbhate yathā | ātmoditāhaṃkṛtirātmatattvaṃ | tathā tirodhāya vijṛmbhate svayam ||
As a bank of clouds, produced by the sun's heat, spreads and hides the sun itself, so the ego, arisen from the Self, spreads and hides the truth of the Self.
जैसे सूर्य की किरणों से उत्पन्न बादलों की पंक्ति सूर्य को ही ढककर फैल जाती है, वैसे ही आत्मा से उत्पन्न अहंकार आत्मतत्त्व को ढककर स्वयं फैल जाता है।
