तत्साक्षिकं भवेत्तत्तद्यद्यद्येनानुभूयते । कस्याप्यननुभूतार्थे साक्षित्वं नोपयुज्यते ॥
tatsākṣikaṃ bhavettattadyadyadyenānubhūyate | kasyāpyananubhūtārthe sākṣitvaṃ nopayujyate ||
Whatever is experienced by something has that as its witness. Where something is not experienced by anyone, witnessing does not apply.
