कार्यप्रवर्धनाद्बीजप्रवृद्धिः परिदृश्यते । कार्यनाशाद्बीजनाशस्तस्मात्कार्यं निरोधयेत् ॥
kāryapravardhanādbījapravṛddhiḥ paridṛśyate | kāryanāśādbījanāśastasmātkāryaṃ nirodhayet ||
When the effect grows, the seed is seen to grow; when the effect is destroyed, the seed is destroyed. Therefore one should check the effect.
