Vivekachudamani 1.478

1.478 Guru to Disciple

vedāntasiddhāntaniruktireṣā | brahmaiva jīvaḥ sakalaṃ jagacca | akhaṇḍarūpasthitireva mokṣo | brahmādvitīye śrutayaḥ pramāṇam ||

This is the clear statement of the Vedānta's conclusion: the individual self and the whole world are Brahman alone; liberation is abiding as the undivided; and for Brahman without a second, the Śrutis are the proof.

Meaning today and context

In one line: you and the world are not separate from the one reality, and freedom is living from that wholeness rather than from a sense of being a fragment.

The guru states the conclusion of Vedānta: the individual and the whole world are Brahman; liberation is abiding in the undivided; scripture is the proof.
