महास्वप्ने मायाकृतजनिजरामृत्युगहने । भ्रमन्तं क्लिश्यन्तं बहुलतरतापैरनुदिनम् । अहंकारव्याघ्रव्यथितमिममत्यन्तकृपया । प्रबोध्य प्रस्वापात्परमवितवान्मामसि गुरो ॥
mahāsvapne māyākṛtajanijarāmṛtyugahane | bhramantaṃ kliśyantaṃ bahulataratāpairanudinam | ahaṃkāravyāghravyathitamimamatyantakṛpayā | prabodhya prasvāpātparamavitavānmāmasi guro ||
Wandering in the great dream, the dense forest of birth, old age and death made by maya, tormented day after day by countless pains, and mauled by the tiger of ego, I was awakened by you, O guru, out of deep sleep and saved, out of your boundless compassion.
माया द्वारा रचे जन्म, जरा और मृत्यु के घने वन रूपी महास्वप्न में भटकते, प्रतिदिन अनेक तापों से क्लेश पाते और अहंकार रूपी बाघ से पीड़ित मुझको, हे गुरु, आपने अत्यंत कृपा करके गहरी नींद से जगाया और पूरी तरह बचा लिया।
